I couldn't let Spring Break pass without a Girls Day Out! These days those outings include the "little girls" in my best friend's and my life, too.
To the dolphin show we went! It was a winter-like day with temperatures hovering around 38 degrees and a wet snowy mix of precipitation. What a great day to go to the zoo! It was a far cry from those fond memories of spending spring break at the beach, or at least out to lunch with a drink in hand.
How things have changed!
However, being at that show with my daughter who could not contain her excitement was all the fun I needed.
Can you see the excitement exuding from her face? She couldn't sit still!
She jumped up and down. She started her own wave. She loved every minute of it!
The girls even held hands on the ride home...a good note to end the day on.

We had a blast spending the day with the both of you despite the awful weather conditions! We look forward to many more "girls' outings" in the years to come. By the way, I see you were able to post more than 5 pictures....way to go!

That looked like so much fun. You could tell it in Lily's eyes. Her friend looked like she was having fun too. What a nice way to spend a girl's day out.

What fun they were having. A great way to spend the day. It may have been wintery outside but those smiles surely made it sunny inside!
