Family Reunion spells F-U-N!

It has been a long time since we have had a weekend that has been as incredibly exhausting, demanding, and long as this past one. That's what happens when you voluntarily take a toddler away for a weekend to an action-packed Norton family reunion where there are tons of people, and tons of things to do (yes, that's Jack's side of our family). Tons of things to do means hanging out with cousins, aunts & uncles, and nieces & nephews galore (over beverages, of course), getting water-logged in the indoor water park, attending a full day of reunion festivities, playing our hearts out, going to restaurants with mass quantities of people, 2 long car rides to and from Wisconsin, and did I mention, hanging out together. However, we have managed to squeeze some very good fun out of the event, even though there was less visiting with relatives, less sleep, and less time eating in peace as there has been at past reunions. Good news is that we were able to see some very important people that we miss very much. Unfortunately, it was our last quality weekend with Uncle Brenden before he leaves for Brussels...so glad to have been able to spend it with him (and our other relatives who no longer reside in Illinois, too). We are now just glad that our own bed is calling our name, and that it is a mere 12 stairs away!
