Go, Go, Go!

Our early July was NONSTOP!  It was good, fun, super-welcomed, made-us-so-happy CRAZY! 

First, some of our favorite friends-Zak, Amanda, Maddie and Brooke- came to vacation with us, making it feel like a staycation for us :)  We also got to hang out with some of our other favorites-Paulie, Sandy and Abigail!  This long weekend was one of the things I was most looking forward to this summer, and, of course, it totally delivered! 

 We played, and ate, and drank, and visited, and went to the lake, an camped, and played some more!  Aside from getting some much-needed quality time with our Texas "relatives," we modeled for our children how important it is to stay connected.  When all was said and done, the kids couldn't understand why they had to home, and when are they coming back, and when can we go where they live?  Even if it is only annually, the next generation will understand the meaning of treating your friends like family and making it a point to savor every minute with them.  We are in the process of building something really cool between them, that is for sure!

Then, we spent the following long weekend in a heavenly place known only as the North Woods.  This Wisconsin piece of paradise was the backdrop for many family memories and great adventures.  Most importantly, Papa Kenny got to share with his grands where he vacationed as a boy. 

 Thanks to our trip, we have some new waterskiiers in the family!!!  Talk about proud!  It was so, incredibly awesome!
