Happy Halloween!
Our "bug" was a penguin today...the cutest we've ever seen. She absolutely loved her costume, and loved the idea of walking house to house to get CANDY! Therefore, we absolutely loved the holiday, too.
She truly made it so much fun. She screeched and squealed, and ran through leaves shouting "Happy ------ween!", and "my candy!" with an occasional "thank you" when reminded.
As we got further on our route, she even felt bold enough to dig her little hands right into the bowl of candy before her and help herself. I think the fact that she looked so darn cute cancelled out the rudeness of her gesture. Our girl LOVES her sweets. She was making you proud, Uncle B. After every candy entry into her pumpkin, she would stop to admire it, then take it out to eat at that very moment. I think she ate 4 pieces of candy in one block. It's Halloween...we couldn't deny her. She definitely inherited a sweet tooth...or two or three. And the sour, gummy candy was her favorite. There was many requests for more.
Notice the look of contemplation on her face as she searches for the perfect piece of candy to indulge in that very moment.
Hope your Halloween was graced with as much sweetness as ours was.
